The Directorates of Goa State Lotteries organized a grand prize
distribution ceremony in Goa, on 11 March 2024, wherein Namita Savkar, a resident of Nashik, Maharashtra, was facilitated as the recipient of the 1st prize amounting to Rs. 1.5 crore in the “Rajshree 1000 Monthly Lottery.”
During the ceremony, the Directorates of Goa State Lotteries honoured Namita Savkar with a flower bouquet and a signed cheque. Higher officials from Goa State Lotteries graced the occasion by joyously celebrating the significant day. On being congratulated by the Directorate of Goa State Lotteries, Namita shared her happiness and said that she has been playing the Rajshree Lottery for a long time and has won small prizes multiple times before. Often, when she used to go out to the market, she used to buy lottery tickets with the money left over from household expenses, hoping to win a big prize. However, this is her first time taking home the first prize. She further revealed her strategy that she always bought tickets with different numbers and tried to buy more tickets to increase her chances of winning. Grateful for her win, she expressed her happiness by thanking Goa State Lotteries and Rajshree Lottery.
The Directorate Mr. Narayan Gad of Goa State Lotteries praised Namita for her intelligence and dedication in believing she would win one day and stated that this victory will inspire all lottery players to believe that everyone who tries may succeed.
